air custom fields & kanban

Air is a creative asset management platform that optimizes how teams collect, approve, and share content. As a centralized hub for images, videos, and files, it streamlines workflows and boosts team productivity, simplifying content management. Over 200,000 creatives and 1,600+ brands—including sweetgreen, NBC, and The Infatuation—use Air to manage over 700 million images and videos every day.

As a product designer at Air, I led design for key features like custom fields and kanban view. Custom fields enable teams to add detailed metadata—like status, ratings, usage rights, etc.—to their assets, providing flexibility for various workflows. Kanban view offers a dynamic, drag-and-drop interface that allows users to visually track their projects. These features work together to streamline workflows and foster greater collaboration among teams, reflecting Air's mission to redefine creative asset management. After a steady adoption post-launch, custom fields became core functionality of the platform used every day by a majority of Air’s customers.
